I Bleed Blue

I remember staying up late when I was a boy,
Listening to Cawood with my Dad,
I remember picturing the game inside the radio,
We wanted the Cats to win so bad,
I remember staying awake excited half the night,
After a big Kentucky win,
And I remember fighting back tears when we lost,
I still do every now and then cause,

I Bleed Blue, through and through,
I was born and raised a Wildcat, it's all I ever knew,
I Bleed Blue, through and through,
I love my old Kentucky home, let me tell you what I do,
I Bleed Blue,

I've heard about the legend of the Baron Adolph Rupp,
How he won 4 NCAAs,
I've heard about the Fab Five and the story of Rupp's Runts,
And all the great players of those days,
I recall the title that was won by Joe B. Hall,
When the Goose dropped 41 on Duke,
And I can't forget those Unforgettables,
And how my heart broke in '92,

I remember when Pitino led us to the promised land,
Then Tubby won in '98,
And I'll be there singing "Go Big Blue" again,
When Calipari wins number 8 ...
