Golf Without Tiger

The viewers are bored, take a good look around,
The stands are half full and the ratings are down,
Jim Nantz is asleep in the CBS truck,
Cause golf without Tiger really does suck,

Golf without Tiger's not much of a game,
It's a bunch of rank amateurs making a name,
For themselves in the absence of Tiger the Great,
So Tiger get well before it's too late,

I watched for a while in support of Greg Norman,
Thinking he'd pull out a win like George Foreman,
But he brought back visions of his Masters collapse,
With a final round filled with bad drives and mishaps,

Golf without Tiger is really a joke,
It's the rest of the field who all know how to choke,
When they play in the presence of Tiger the Great,
So heal up that knee before it's too late,

I thought Mickelson might just pick up the slack,
But the leaderboard shows he's stuck in the back,
I'd like to watch Daly out drinking and swearing,
But he hardly sees a Saturday pairing,

Golf without Tiger is nothing but sad,
Cause compared to his game, the quality's bad,
It's a bunch of guys shooting about even par,
While the golf game is missing it's one major star,
So I'll check back with golf when his knee's feeling fine,
I'll resume watching golf in 2009 ...
